Due to aggressive purchasing and being a multi-vendor store, Vermont Bedrooms has mitigated the supply chain issue quite well. There are still some product categories which are having long waiting periods but Vermont Bedrooms continues to work with the manufacturers to shorten delays as much as possible.
One major issue continues to be Futon Frames, which all come from overseas and we have no control over delivery. Most furniture currently has a lead time of 6-8 months, as the manufacturers continue to have employee and transportation shortages. We are confident that as soon as the supply chain issues, as well as the employment shortages situation resolves, deliveries will once again be close to normal. We’re not sure when that will be but we’re hoping for the best.
In the mean time, our warehouse is full, as we have a large inventory of mattresses in all sizes and price ranges. We’re open at our location in Rutland, Vermont, which you can visit at:
